The portion of fish was huge, flaky, and beautifully cooked with a perfect crisp batter. Equally impressive were the chips, which were delightfully fluffy and delicious. Every bite was golden perfection. Beyond the incredible food, the whole experience was elevated by the setting. The atmosphere was amazing, and the spectacular sea views provided the perfect backdrop for a classic seaside meal. To top it all off, the service was truly perfect. Food was great, fresh tasted and value for money. Place was clean staff, was incredible, considering, this waitress, all on her own ,did everything. She went apart and down the stairs ,dealt with amazingly stupid customers. How she kept her cool, was beyond me. Any way, she had everything undercontrol, managed it all without any problems. My heart goes out to her. The meal ,special fish and chips, was very nice. But too much for me. Yeah, big portions, and hot, so we'll done

Absolutely outstanding fish and chips. Huge portions, lovely fresh fish and the foot long batter sausage was amazing … and quite possibly the best chips we’ve ever had! Very friendly service too. Will absolutely visit again next time we’re in Scarborough

An absolute gem of a place that's clean and tidy, the staff are smart and polite and very helpful. The fish and chips with bread and butter and a good strong pot of tea was probably one of the best I've ever had .Food was hot and fresh the batter wasn't greasy the portions were generous it was so good we went back to the manager to tell him how nice his staff were and the food . If you are visiting Scarborough this is not to be missed along with the views.

Always pop in here every time I visit Scarborough. Didn't have chips this time as was in a rush, but the haddock was delightful. Crispy batter, not too overpowering, filled with a very good sized, meaty fish. Cooked to perfection, great to eat sat on a bench over the road looking at the sea crashing in.

Was greeted by the owner.. such a lovely Yorkshire welcome.. how could we not resist.. and they have the best view of Scarborough upstairs.. but more importantly The best fish and Chip we have had.. if your in Scarborough this is the place to go..

Thankyou to the lovely staff member pre-warning that the fish and chips isn't cooked in veggy oil. That didn't dampen the mood to opt out for a veggie lasagne and jacket potato with prawn instead. Dessert was additional treat ,sooo good! Definitely worth the visit, thankyou for looking after us today.
